Meet Dr. Matthew Schulz, Founder of the Alternative Health Center

Dr. Schulz recalls, "I only made these discoveries because I had a deadly illness and Alternative Medicine saved my life. Conventional medicine had nothing for me. In fact, I went to one of the best medical doctors in the country who specialized in what I had and after following his advice, my problem only got worse. That is when I was forced to heal myself naturally, which turned out to be a great learning experience. That is the reason why I dedicated my life to providing others with the highest quality mainstream Alternative Medicine available. That is the reason why I opened the Alternative Health Center and provide the exact things that we do, because I know for a fact they work. I created the Alternative Health Center exactly the way I did, because it is in my opinion the perfect solution for some of the problems in the health care system in America today."

"There are a number of things that I learned from my personal health experiences and I will share a few of these with you. For example, people often have to drive to more than one place in order to get all of the care they need, which is very time consuming and unaffordable. Medications only treat symptoms. There is a difference between getting temporary results with medications by treating symptoms and actual resolution of a problem by addressing the underlying causes of the problem. The more causes removed, the better and the faster you will heal. I learned that it can be extremely expensive to heal yourself naturally without insurance coverage. I learned that insurance companies frequently don’t cover the things that you may need in order to get well as fast as possible. Alternative Medicine when comprehensive can provide amazing results, but when broken up into pieces and used minimally (as what insurance will pay for), didn’t provide adequate results for me. There is a reason for this, which I happened to learn from the doctor who brought Acupuncture to America. He taught me that if only one system of the body is treated, such as Acupuncture or Chiropractic, then the other system that wasn’t treated can re-create the imbalances in the other system. This important gem as well as many others started a domino effect in my understanding of the body which led to the creation of Dr. Schulz’s Multi-Modal Approach, which I believe to be of the most comprehensive and cutting-edge Alternative Medicine available anywhere in the country. I am currently in the process of writing a book outlining all of my perspectives and solutions, so that I may be able to share these breakthroughs with as many people as possible. I am writing this book with the intention of alleviating the healthcare crisis in America, one reader at a time."

Dr. Schulz recalls, "Before starting my natural treatments, I didn't realize that the education of my Alternative Medicine doctor actually surpassed that of my medical doctor! Much to my surprise, doctors of Chiropractic are highly educated and they are not all alike. Dr. Schulz is a Primary Care Chiropractic Physician, and Licensed Acupuncturist. He holds degrees from Indiana University and Logan University in Kinesiology, Human Biology and Chiropractic, and has extensive post-graduate education and research in many areas of Alternative Medicine.

Dr. Schulz is married to Kirma, and they have 2 children, a boy and a girl. They met over ten years ago while attending Indiana University and have been inseparable ever since. They attribute their great health to the multi-modal approach offered at the Alternative Health Center.
